For the purpose of securing common interests, the Committee is to study and solve common problems faced by Shanghai foreign banks, strengthen intercommunication between foreign banks and government, regulatory bodies and other associations, enhance the in-depth understanding of the relevant policies and regulations, encourage cooperation with Chinese-funded banks to mutually maintain a fair competitive market place.
