The 2013“Popularizing knowledge about bankcards”&“Swiping UnionPay cards to get gifts” activity was initiated at the No.1 Yaohan Department Store in Pudong New Area, Shanghai on February 26th . With the theme of “protecting cardholders’ rights and living a green life”, the Event seeks to popularize knowledge about bankcards, to create a greener and safer payment environment and to promote a low-carbon life style. Organizers of the Activity are People’s Bank of China Shanghai Branch, Shanghai Banking Regulatory Commission Shanghai Office, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Shanghai Banking Association. In addition, more than 30 local issuing banks, China UnionPay Shanghai Office and four  professional service providers are also co-organizers.
