In order to promote sense of social responsibilities of Shanghai bankers, legitimate rights of financial consumers and harmonious relationship between the two, SBA recently formulated and promulgated the Shanghai Financial Consumers Rights’ Protection Convention，a compulsive document for all SBA members.

The Convention covers areas including establishing daily working mechanism for financial consumer protection, respecting the financial consumers’ rights of being informed and to choose, strengthening the cautious management of consumers’ information, improving the complaints-handling mechanism and providing more customized service for the underprivileged.
